Travel in Vietnam is very cheap with 3 main options you can take a bus which is a long way to go but is very cheap. You can also take a train which will get you to all of the main cites on the coast like Hanoi Saigon Nha Trang and Da nag this is cheaper than a flights but surprisingly taking a cheap flight is really cheap in Vietnam if you use Pacific Airlines.
